The proposed program is a follow-up to the first IOCSEA 2012 hosted by Prince of Songkla University held in Phang Nga. The conference will focus on the theme of “Setting priorities for the future of SE Asian Ornithology” The rationale for the joint meeting is to attract a wider and more international audience and give ornithologists & students more opportunity to interact with researchers from the region. As graduate students of many universities are now required to present at international conferences as part of their degree or scholarship requirements, this would also provide a true international meeting for them.
